Forlonger > Forever Longevity discourse gets quickly stuck in existential dread because people anchor on immortality. If you offered people an additional healthy 5 years, they'd probably take it? More interesting to discuss what happens if people live an extra 50 years before forever.

Life expectancy has doubled over the past 150 years, to some extent this is an existing trend. It may accelerate of course but it's something society has already been dealing with on some level. A lot of interesting things to consider though, surreal to imagine family dinner with great great parents at a healthy age

Btw if forever gets figured out, sick. But mostly saying it’s easy to miss the forest from the trees when using that case as the starting point for debate and discussion.
