Putting the vibes based perspective (Farcaster is simply better) to the side for a moment. It's probably hard to understate the impact on new user acquisition and general conversion rate for new users. Any % improvements gained compounds greatly over time and impacts overall growth. And it comes for basically free.

I'm sympathetic to the developer neutrality point, but there is now a provably permissionless stack, the tech is credibly neutral. This wasn't the case a few years ago. Also first and foremost the whole ecosystem dies if Farcaster/Warpcast does so it's important to bring in new users and grow—which is what is actually most important to developers.

But look at other 'protocols' making swift migrations off deprecated stacks... Erodes any builder trust built up when the community is built around a now deprecated piece of tech. Anticipated debt for ecosystem participants. Even creators feel rugged that they have to understand new mechanics of the new system and explain it to their audience (again).
