Product and investing:

You have a pool of capital, a current position (can start at 0), a point of view, a market that you are in, time horizon, competitive differentiation, risk management, execution ability and then forms of leverage. 

The details of each component are very different, but at the highest level it’s a similar practice.

im being all inclusive with capital: team, money, brand, product, etc etc
