Strongly feel like @base needs to distinguish itself from Solana if it wants to win consumer this cycle.

Right now Solana is running laps around everyone as the main hub for degen trading and memecoins.

IMO the way Base wins is by leaning more into truly free mints and bringing mainstream culture onchain without it feeling like an investment that is meant to 10x.

Crypto people don't quite get this - but it's far more likely that people dip their toes in if they don't feel like they're having to risk their entire net worth in the process.

Less focus on get rich quick, more on building sustainable organic communities that can shine in the absence of 100x's.

I wonder what consumer app could help advance this vision of the future?

Maybe an app that’s easy for anyone to create with no crypto required and a magical double tap to mint experience for collectors?

Double tap costing $3 is too high imo but the architecture is right there.

I think a double tap costing people a few bucks every time would result in a lot less double taps, not the same as IG

I imagine that 3D / GLB file that minted on Zora, possible to view or interact with AR feature on mobile phone camera

As an application that is constantly being developed, users find it much more convenient.
