Sometime I wonder if @dwr.eth and team even need a token. Tokens can often incentivize the wrong type of user behavior for growth of a social platform (FriendTech for example). Its value becomes directly associated with the platforms success from that moment on. Traders who don’t care about Farcaster can drive the price action, and users often blame the team/tokenomics for these market effects that they have no control over.

People will complain about how it is rolled out no matter what, and it can eclipse the importance/mission of the original product in the public discourse.

Idk. I’d love a token but I see that it will be a massive headache for the team. Dan already interacts heavily with his users and their feedback. Imagine him getting spammed with complaints about price action. I would not want to deal with that shit personally.

Many of the projects that hire market makers for their token launches still deal with all the negative side effects I mentioned. They can’t negate these market effects completely. 

Also idk if they could afford a retainer model for their market maker, which would mean a loan model. Loan based Market Makers are notorious for price dumps.

He can hire a market maker as most of the projects do.
