X makes me feel cynical and angry. Warpcast/Farcaster makes me feel hopeful and optimistic. I’m seriously considering deleting twitter. It’s not good for my brain anymore. I’m sick of the hatred and lack of empathy I see everyday on there. Anyone else feel this way?

all social platforms today are literal delivery vehicles for slop: intellectual slop, artistic slop, junk slop, whatever you want to find on social, all you’re really going to find is slop, There is no room for nuance on any of the socials as they’re designed today, and believe me; they’re designed this way for a reason: to get you addicted to instant and thoughtless validation or gratification

Yeah and I blame the introduction of the monetization of blue users. Now it is incentivized to buy premium and get impressions. And the best way to get impressions is rage bait

Yeah, I'm not deleting my crypto twitter but I am deleting my activist/politics twitter account... No need to keep that stuff on there. Just rage bait.

+1 spent the last year here after 15 years on twitter, and i get chills every time i spend more than 5 minutes on x now. it feels like a fucking demon trying to hack my thoughts every time lol
