1/4 If you have seen my other two posts about Copenhagen, you’re probably thinking, “where are those colored houses I always see in pictures from there?” 🏘️ Well don’t worry, we stopped by Nyhavn too. Nyhavn a 17th-century waterfront district in Copenhagen, is picturesque Copenhagen.

2/4 🤴it was established by King Christian V in 1670. The houses along the Nyhavn canal, date back to the 17th and 18th centuries, and have been well-preserved, offering a window into Copenhagen's past. 🕰️ 🏘️ These houses, once home to merchants and sailors, now host cozy cafes and restaurants.

3/4 Nyhavn is not just about aesthetics; it's rich in history. Danish author Hans Christian Andersen lived in Nyhavn for many years.✍️ The vibrant house no. 20 was his home for over two decades, adding literary significance to the area.
