I enjoyed a few lovely days in London for the first time in years (in admittedly perfect weather)

The parks + infrastructure make for a sprawling, active, stunningly beautiful place

It’s pretty devastating to compare and imagine what /los-angeles could be with even a fraction of London’s green spaces and transit.

I really hope that LA can, at least on the transit front, make some real progress here thanks to the 2028 Olympics. 

Spending time in London made me realize that the two cities are actually somewhat similar in size and density but make for dramatically different experiences because of London public infras and parks.

LA could use better public transport for sure but it is nowhere near as dense as London. Also greenspaces wise LA is close to national and state parks that are actual wild spaces with actual wild animals so there's no comparison there.  London has nice parks though.
