I used to think they would obviously go after some bigger fish than Bitcoin but now I think Bitcoin is the most attractive target

Would you rather make millions/billions of dollars taking most likely lost or known-to-be lost coins (which you can possibly justify to yourself and/or the public as a victimless crime, if even a crime) or risk jail forever by committing fraud on the NYSE or eavesdropping on the President?

I am not aware of a use for a secret quantum computer that isn't morally and legally fraught and the risk/reward of taking dead people's Bitcoin is pretty good compared to the alternatives
