Prediction markets as the new polls?

Every Warpcast user has a linked wallet and balance. So you could pin a specific prediction market to the top of a channel, or post in a cast, and allow people to express opinions with microtransactions.

a poll structured this way to me sounds more like “forcing ppl to make txns to express opinions”

You can still express opinions but you have to pay to express opinions in that particular poll.

In fact, you could make a "paper trading" prediction market that "bets" using reputation points (no monetary value)

so why would you pay for something identical that’s already free 🫥

You can make money by being right (it's not gambling if you know you're going to win 😉)

The current odds of the market create a data point that measures what the participants think will happen and their conviction
