My big issue wrt Season 12 bans... AFAIK @laladeedah was NOT banned, which is truly inexplicable. This account made 350k+ in tips, 6th on the leaderboard, most of any "regular" profile -- they have 15 followers, averaging 0 engagement besides microsub tips all from the same user! @degen133.eth This was the easiest 356k degen to claw back and these profiles should obviously be permanently banned. How many artists and small farmers had to be robbed to make up for this one massive extractor? Is this a VC or insider profile? I don't get it. Inexplicable is really the best word I have for it. Super discouraging. It would be simple to ban actual bad faith users like this: - perma-ban any FID who received over 50k in tips solely from 1 or 2 or 3 donors - perma-ban any FIDs who only tipped 1 or 2 recipients the entire season That is low hanging fruit to ban tipping rings and purely extractive farmers. But instead we're targeting users who tip "reciprocally" (by a largely arbitrary definition). rain 5000 $degen

I’m just one person, and every rule I create will have flaws because there will always be edge cases. I could spend all my time battling farming and building an anti-Sybil solution, but that’s not my focus. Unfortunately, the farmers are winning for now.

I appreciate the response and know you’re in a tough spot with regard to monitoring and filtering out farmers. There isn’t a perfect solution available. I do think it’s important to use a method that catches the most egregious bad actors, especially when it is quite easy to do so, like it is with the example I provided.
