Degen

My first $DEGEN bag (220k) ends the lock period on March 9, and I'm not entirely convinced of what I should do.

•What is the vault attraction for you?
•What would you improve?
•Is it worth having that big funds (for me) locked to have the small allowance — after being cut by 5?

I won't sell a f*cking hat at these prices, but I don't know if it's worth locking them again without knowing if rules will unilaterally change again in the future.

it’s a good question. 

my assumption is we will get some updates on ‘the plan’ at the end of this Season, which will help make this decision easier.

What sort of updates would you like to hear?

well I relistened to the recording from a month ago, with the general themes:

- too many using $Degen as a ‘paycheque’ > ban farmers

- CAC (new wallets) exorbitantly high > propose new marketing initiatives

- APR of 182% on Vaulted $Ldegen too high > cut daily emissions to 1 Million

now, it’s clear there is not much incentive to Vault from a risk/reward perspective (that’s how this convo started). not really a problem per se with the new direction, but it would be useful to see if the new changes are intended to be “permanent” to give clarity on the decision-making process around relocking vs. withdrawing.
