Just wanna say: I stand with @jessepollak and the @base team always. They’ve supported $DEGEN from the beginning—publicly and behind the scenes—and that support helped us grow into what we are today. Jesse backing meme culture isn’t a rug, it’s recognition. Meme coins brought people, attention, and energy to Base. I get why some in the Base community felt let down. Base and Solana are just different. Solana moves fast, thrives on memes and momentum. Base feels more grounded—tied to Coinbase, trust, long-term apps, and onboarding the next 1 billion users. Different vibes, both valid. DEGEN chose Base because we believe in that long-term vision. We’re building long-term (our Farcaster mobile app drops this summer) and we’re here for the future—not just for a moment. Jesse gets that. He’s been with us since day one, and we’re proud to be building on @base.

Jesse buying a meme is nice on the surface... But behind the scenes all it really is fees for base and their targets... Absolute bear shiiii No consideration for the normy or the liq it sucked from memes so really it's just a pump and dump... I mean was the trump coin good for the sol eco system? No mate

I'm not advocating for pump-n-dump shitter coins either — not into them and I think this phase burns out eventually. But I do like the fundamentals of what Base is building. I don’t think these meme coins are what bring real new users into crypto long-term, but the broader vision of getting a billion people onchain? That’s a beautiful one. And honestly, if anyone can push that vision forward, it’s Jesse and Coinbase.

That’s the vision I have with $CRITTER I think base is amazing and it’s why I solely focused putting brand Geo Critters here. By pushing my brand into the universe it will bring more people to the ecosystem. I got my father asking about base and Warpcast now he’s in his 60s. I love it here. It feels wholesome and good vibes.
