As a young investor who values patience above all, here’s my take:
A $5,000 business class ticket for a 10-hour roundtrip flight? Honestly, that kind of spending is for people who lack patience and chase instant gratification. When I invest, I’m thinking long-term returns, not just a few extra hours of comfort.
If you’ve got that kind of money and dropping it feels like nothing, sure, go ahead. But if your goal is building a solid and sustainable financial future, I’d say that $5,000 can easily multiply in a smart investment. Instead of sipping champagne in the sky, I’d rather see that money grow so that a few years down the line, I can rent a whole private jet if I want to.
So no, it’s not worth it. Put your money where it can grow. Don’t trade long-term gains for short-term satisfaction. 1 reply
