I see a lot of people here arguing against feee speech and let me just say I don’t talk much about Honduran politics which I have a lot of insights about because I fear repercussions for me and my family from the Government. Arguing the limits of free speech is like arguing that real communism has never been tried.

but there are limits.. cryptography, secrets, etc.. deep state stuff cannot be shared ?! so, this is a constraint of free speech

Cryptography, code and math in general should be protected as free speech. Not allowing those things to benefit all of society at large is bad. The deep state should not exist and we could use more transparency around it. Secrets or any IP owned by you or your Company is IP and should be protected as such. That’s not a free speech issue. In fact people with access to it sign a contract that says they won’t share it. Contracts are contracts you can absolutely enter a legal agreement with another entity around what you will or will not say. That’s just the market.

tornado cash, assange, snowden.. I agree with you about deep state. sadly, imperialism wars and current state of the world.. require some secrets.. (this is what backs nsa) due to national security.. problem is abusing it.. and use it against citizens.. IP.. let's say I found a cure for a disease but I am working on a pharmaceutical company (all workers are forced to have these contracts, confidential stuff) will IP protect me? I am the inventor, I should be able to share it based on free speech and IP (mostly if this benefits all society vs this company dividends) but I can't because all companies are forcing workers to sign these contracts (no free market, no negotiation, no signed, no hired) basically workers have to renounce IP.. we don't know who discovered covid vaccines.. they are heros ?! (you can argue they give me the means, the lab and this stuff.. but meh, I am still the inventor.. no brain, no cure) I know these are contracts and nothing to do with law, tho, forcing someone to sign..

imagine an onchain alternative, a public, open verifiable and permissionless chain supply but for working, with attestations or proofs, attribution (and responsability), first one creating something gets retribution on following uses cases.. like onchain licenses, provenance.. companies working together in cooperation with important network effects.. (think base+op and the superchain..), transparency between companies could accelerate progress.. with investors or companies sponsoring (expecting a return later) products or ideas, public good grants, governance and even funding projects in the working supply with pooled funds controlled by governance (like nation bills) expecting return from consumer market everything being open source and full transparency could have amazing network effects.. and create a better world.. more fair, with more opportunities and with no hidden knowledge nor secrets.. with the people.. I think projects like scout are helping a lot on imagining and building this new world
