I suspect you'll need to make it so that people know to become a member before casting in the channel. The alternative could be to add a frame where people can post a link to their casts, which might actually support some automation if you're going that route.

Regarding Gnosis - 

In all cases, POAPs are "born" on Gnosis before migrating to the destination network (in this case, Base). This is so that the seriality of the token ID is maintained. 

There is an edge case that we still haven't covered (minting POAPs from an email reservation) that needs to be taken care of before this goes to GA. 

Regarding the 30 POAPs minted... we're investigating.
