I bought this piece 7-8 years ago when I lived in SoCal, hoping it would grace the walls of my future kids. It's been in the nursery of my oldest (21 months) and my youngest (1 month) when she moves out of her bassinet.

I was drawn to the feelings of outer space ( I worked in that field at the time and still love it) and the togetherness I hope my son and daughter feel for each other. I hope they're each other's first and longest friends. It also feels like a simpler time reminding me of my own childhood, before phones & social media.
