One of the interesting things I've found while coding is that timestamp 0 is jan 1 1970. While i've known this for a while as a developer, it never occurred to me that this *had* to be an arbitrary social choice since there is no natural lower bound.

The "Farcaster epoch" (timestamps on hubs) is seconds since Jan 1 2021.
