Seeing a pattern where AI creates a steeper learning curve for people who want to learn coding. There is a big boost for writing code without any background, but AI seems to make it harder once you go past newbie and try to understand what's going on.

there has always been a challenge at this point. Used to be you would copy an example from a book or google and hope it works. If it didn't you'd mess with it blindly. But AI makes "mess with it blindly" do so many things it is harder to gain knowledge from the process.
