What’s the best advice you ignored that turned out to be spot on? We’ve all been there—someone gives you advice, you think, ‘Yeah, whatever man, that won’t happen to me!” only to later realize they were right. Maybe it’s about your career, family, or something else else entirely, but we’ve all done it. I’ve done it a lot, but the one that stings is the most is ignoring the advice not to take loved ones for granted. Losing my brother Andrew this year, I was reminded of all the plans we made ‘for later’ that we would now never get to do. If I could go back, I would say “Yes” to all those times he asked to hang out or shoot the shit, no matter how tired or busy I was. What’s some advice that you’ve gotten in the past and ignored only to realize later you should have listened sooner?

Sometimes it's better to hire a professional. You think you can save money only to spend 2x the amount and still hire a professional. Always look at your situation and time before making any decisions

Haha I’ve been practicing this one with movers for awhile now. I will not move myself anymore. Hire the professionals! I know this is a bit different than you meant tho! 😂

lol, I’ve been the professional called in after these situations. Inevitably get the “can you fix it as it is”. Almost always the case I have to tell them I have to rip it all out, they buy new materials and pay me to put in back in correctly
