Okay, so we have gone over multiple ways we can be empathetic towards others. So, let's talk about how we can be more empathetic here and in other forms of text-based communication. 1. Recognize your own emotions. Be able to separate how you feel when reading (listening) to the other person. It's not always easy to read the tone. 2. Read. Actually read what's being written. Sometimes, you need to reread what's been said 2 or 3 times before responding. Understand what's being said and repeat step 1. 3. Ask questions. You should ask clarifying questions if you don't understand or need more information. Additonally, don't just assume what the other person knows or doesn't know what you are trying to say. Confirm their understanding as well. 4. Share about yourself. Sometimes, breaking the ice can help to break down barriers and allow for deeper and more open dialogue. 5. Offer help. If you can, see what you can do for the other person.

This is amazing. I try hard to listen to what others are saying. Makes me feel good when others do the same for me! ;) 25 $Degen
