I agree tremendously here. 

Creating an everything app without first proving you can keep a social app functioning let alone make it profitable does not instill confidence. 

Banking, transactions, payments, all things that require confidence. 

Same energy as founders who have no idea what they’re actually doing.

Yeah, I can easily see a governmental response that uses case studies like FTX and the potential overreach of an “everything app” as evidence of the need for governments to be bigger to protect the rights of the people against institutions.

So I’m not hoping for this, but I can’t shake the feeling that…

unfortunately for the rest of us, the quick approval of regulatory fintech paper/licensures here and potential crash and burn will be used as an excuse to not give licenses to actual startups in the future 🫠🫠🫠
