In Kumano City, Japan, you can find "oni" (demons or ogres).
In addition to the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage routes, there are other World Heritage sites like Onigajo and Shishiiwa that allow visitors to experience the grandeur of nature.

I actually just finished the Nakahechi route last week. It was quite an adventure, would recommend it to anybody who wants a slice of nature!
Hongu was probably one of my favourite places in Japan, the local ramen shop was lit!
