giant, CRPG-esque, legacy campaign; unlock new chars + player powers, best combat in /tabletop

- fun hand mngmt, risk/reward burst actions vs. early exhaustion
- tactical + adjustable combat
- round initiative, top/bottom card plays allows adjustment when plans get fucked up 😂

We've had Gloomhaven on the shelf for months and haven't managed to bring it to the table yet. Very intimidating box. 😬

Have you played Frosthaven? I heard that it was a significant improvement and that many people choose to adopt some of the new rules when playing Gloomhaven.

Haven't played FH but I have JotL and it's much better to ease new players in than the big box.
