devs are some of the best and most aggravating people. interest in the details of your work "oh you're doing XYZ with ABC? that's cool" but asking for specific help is a lotta "you figure it out fuckface"

I've seen the opposite, ask for help and people will flock to help The thing that annoys me is when someone's like, "Can someone help with X?" and someone's like "X is trash, use {thing that is orthogonal to X}"

that one's also common lol "I'm 6 months deep into using ABC, how do i XX?" "oh yeah ABC is terrible, they ask for money, i did ACC by DEF for free" (does not provide links)
