the logic layout for this would be interesting to see. what's the min # changes reqd + no/yes reqd to determine the chosen value? 32 choices initially (35 total?), 6 iterations, 2^6 = 64 so if each iteration n cuts half /2^n then for # values M Ceiling(M/2^n) = max q reqd?

It is always 6 changes. The frame cycles through the same 6 number grids.
