Not quite. Only the caster earns actual Moxie (50% of what the cast earns)
The other 50% is split up to 3 ways, and the moxie is used to buy, then burn, various Fan Tokens. There is no dividend, revenue, moxie residuals or anything that goes directly to the holders of the caster's Fan Token,. channel fan token and Farcaster Network fan token.
It's something that's widely misunderstood because of how it's worded.
So, if you own /tabletop fan token, 20% of the moxie earned in the channel is used to buy that fan token (raising it's price) and then burning the token (keeping the price up). So, holders are supposed to get a more valuable fan token over time. Of course, as the price goes up, others have incentive to sell and then price goes down. 1 reply
