With nearly 5 years of experience in web3, I can say that it is not simple to be here. It is not as simple as "shut up and take my money," but it is a "shut up and accept the risk of earning money" journey. The thought itself is terrifying because I was scammed once. Aside from that, you are dealing with something you don't personally know, and with the lack of knowledge that you have, it is nearly impossible to succeed with too many what if's in mind not until someone told me that “If you’re afraid of losing, you don’t deserve to win.” That's how I got back on track with playing.

After that, I quickly opened my laptop and studied a few things about Cat Town before getting started. That time it was July 19, 2024 I messaged one of the admin asking for that free cat I saw in that tiktok vid (that time cat town is giving out one free cat for new players to explore the game). YES! I AM ONE OF THE FREE CAT BABIES!😝😝

A few days later, I made my first investment in Cat Town. It was 500 PHP (8.47 USD) because my goal at the time was to have 100 cats right immediately because they mentioned you could generate one cat every day if you had 100 cats. But at the time, the worth of a cat was far too high, so I had to manage my allowance to fit in, and I started with 500php and purchased 35 cats with it. My inner self is quite happy with my first purchase!

Weeks have passed, and I'm beginning to appreciate establishing friends in the community. Everyone is laughing nonstop, cracking silly jokes, and I can sense their positive energy. They encourage and congratulate new players on their successes, and if you have any questions, cat town helpers are always available to assist you. While enjoying myself, I didn't notice that my cats were also progressing. Every time I win at fishing, I make sure to add cats to make a difference. And as of now, I can happily share that I have 1213 cats in total, and I am still planning to achieve my goal of 2k cats in no particular time!

But I am still not contented with my purchases. I just bought my very first pfp to have my 5% floof boost! Look at that cutiee!

And now that the year is almost over, I've been playing this game for almost 5 and a half months and plan to continue playing it in 2025! Special thanks to the developers, Rob, Tara, and Crunklez, for creating this game; without your ideas, I would not have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and earn money for myself! Later that night, I had some time to browse tiktok when something unexpected appeared on my screen: a cat town movie explaining how the game worked, the earnings, how it was played, and so on. I thought, "Is this a sign?"And guess what? Cat Town is the first game I've spent money on after months of no cryptocurrency engagement. (PS: It was Allen's tiktok video.)
