Another very useful feature of Base's second layer project are blockchain oracles, which allow people to combine real-world data with on-chain functionality. Optimism technology currently supports pricing oracles. For example, examples like Pyth Network and Chainlink are oracles for getting prices of popular digital currencies and sending data to the main Base network.
