The value of owning a stock - maybe we get dividends. Often times it’s now realised via price go up when more folks want it or company does buy backs. 

BUT the money locked up in the stock doesn’t give the average person access to any of the company’s products or services.

Clankers give you access to the service. If you supported early, you have more of it to use the service longer.

When more folks want access to the product/service/AI agent they will swap for the Clanker which generate fees. These fees are used to buy back and burn the Clanker.

suspect for honest ICOs of 2017 this was the model they wanted but regulation & infra issues didn’t permit. constraints are gone & we now have the primitives we need.

Clankers replace illiquid ESOP for new employees. early supporters and employees have access to the same unit of account of accrued value.

SaaS products get launched and promoted via Product Hunt. People pay to use. Company grows big - early users get no upside beyond what the service provides.

The support was essential but forgotten. All value accrues to the builders.
