Hey frens, I hope you are enjoying some of this Summer League and international basketball action.
Today is a recap of my 22-23 season in the WBB 16-team 10cat league, second division of the Ballers league. You can check my last post to see what happened in the previous season.
This time around I drafted the roster myself and managed to hit on a couple of gems in the late rounds, namely Markkanen and Claxton. Together with Luka, Kyrie, and Gobert, you can imagine that I was super strong in both guard and big man stats.
The breakout of Markkanen was still not very trustworthy at this point, so I traded him for injured Garland after a few weeks. Would you do that trade?
Still, the draft won me the title this year and I was promoted to the premier, Ballers division. But more about that next time.
