i think people dont understand what they are they think of them as frames which they are not

Yes agree to that, but the way blinks are thought of today is very different from what they actually are.

the are not like farcaster frames but more like farcaster actions but for whole blockchain and completely on chain. As more farcaster clients implement fc actions into their dapps more solana apps and wallets will integrate these on chain cations in their mobile apps

Gotta be honest, totally underwhelmed by Blinks. The description made it sound like Farcaster Frames, everyone I tried open a web page and I left Twitter to complete an action which totally missed the mark for me. Rest of crypto friends haven't talked about Blinks in months and many are Sol maxis

Solana launched Blinks and Actions on June 25th and as of today there are 490+ on the Dialect registry. 
< 10 of these are EVM Blinks.
