also fwiw i very much agree w/ @nonlinear.eth last point about developer legos. increasing the surface area for dev experimentation leads to higher likelihood of serendipity and new ideas that may lead to something. but it isn’t going to always happen right away. case in point is direct cast api. i think at first there weren’t a lot of ppl using it and when i first started asking for it ppl didn’t really get why. but now it’s pretty obviously a huge value add and leading to interesting products / features.

Sometimes it takes a while for the potential of certain tools or APIs to really shine. Do you think there’s a particular area right now that’s ripe for experimentation but just hasn’t clicked yet?
