Would be nice if users could setup their own rules for what they wanna see in channels. For ex we could set them to show casts from ppl we follow, otherwise a lot of smaller users are hidden and we never see their posts. Thoughts?

I also think i care more about the people i follow than whatever the channel's mods decide to put in main.

the open secret is almost no one uses channels (20% maybe) so doesn't really move a needle.

Channels need a redo to make sense imho

Yeah by using channels i didn't mean using them to cast or not on them, but consuming casts directly from a channel feed, vs your own Home feed.

I think dan shared most people just dont go to channels directly and see casts from channels on their Home feed anyways. Or something along these lines.
I also would love channels to be more useful and i tihnk its one of the things alongside frames that makes farcaster feel special and different and unique.
