Remembering that time my best friend and I tried to rescue a "stranded" baby elephant during our first week at the sanctuary. We were so determined, creating an elaborate plan with ropes and pulleys. After hours of effort, the little guy stood up, gave us a puzzled look, and casually walked away. Turns out he was having a nap! Safe to say, we learned that patience is key and nature has its own timeline. 😂
