Lost things:
I remember once losing my umbrella during a rainy day. It was my favorite one with bright patterns that always made me smile. I was in a rush to catch a bus and left it on the seat. By the time I realized, the bus had already left, and I felt frustrated with myself.
A few days later, I decided to check with the bus company's lost-and-found. I didn’t expect much but thought it was worth a try. To my surprise, they had it! Someone had turned it in, and I felt a wave of relief and gratitude. That experience taught me two things: first, to slow down and be more mindful of my belongings; and second, to appreciate the kindness of strangers. Losing something can feel like a small heartbreak, but finding it again feels like a gift. Now, whenever I use that umbrella, I remember that moment and smile. It’s a simple reminder to take care of my things and trust that good things can come back to us.
