Weakens sexual function. 
Doesn’t respect boundaries.

There are ways to justify this (decreasing marginal tax rates are consistent with optimal tax theory, as you get the incentive effect without the reduction in revenue on the hours that people would work anyway), but in general I'm kinda worried about tax policy being driven by memetics. Becomes a complexity nightmare.

The SEC sank to new lows yesterday.

Since day one, the SEC has said tokens *are* securities, even though that makes no sense as a matter of law.

Yesterday in the Binance case, they finally admit that's wrong — and gaslight a federal court about YEARS of their own arguments 🤯

I used to think that bots on Farcaster were problematic because of spam, but it's bigger than that.

If I respond to a bot, I feel like an idiot who wasted his time building a connection with a ChatGPT wrapper. 

It makes me suspicious of new users, and I tend to respond primarily to people I already know. This means that it's harder for genuine new users to build relationships on the network.

It could be fine for social *media*, but it's bad for the social *network*. 

What would be the ways to mitigate that?
