// Creative Journey 04 | Discovering Slow-Shutter Photography When living in NYC I started exploring slow-shutter photography, after pretty much documenting every nook and cranny in a representational way. Living in the dynamism of the Manhattan had ignited the desire to freeze time and capture the energy of this vibrant city, with enhanced quality. The slow-shutter technique really mirrors my personal rhythm. It is a practice of surrenderβallowing the world to imprint itself onto my lens, rather than forcing an image to conform to my expectations. Each frame is a collaboration between chance and intention. By abstracting everyday scenes and moments, I hope to challenge the viewer to look beyond the surface, to engage with the emotions and energies that underpin our surroundings. Itβs not just about capturing an image but evoking a feeling, sparking curiosity, and inviting contemplation.
