Social Statement

I sit in front of an illusion - birch trees printed on a curtain, neither smelling nor living. They are phantom trees, in someone else's water. A small, fake piece of homeland. I can only look at it, but I can't go in.  I'm drowning, losing touch with reality. Only faith remains: that the forest has not disappeared, but simply hidden, that it will accept me again when the time comes.
