He has grown up over the summer, becoming a deep thinker with a defined personality. Our interactions are different now. He shows me a mirror, exposing all my faults with the purity and straight forwardness only kids possess. Am I growing up too? We are now building a deeper relationship on top of our foundation of what used to be just the nurturing kind. The playful kind. Now I am being challenged to work on myself even more.
