You are so right, even sometimes with things you enjoy it can get difficult when you don't see progress.

We have gotten used to too much instant gratification, which is not really healthy

I've learned in my life that doing things that don't truly interest us is the worst way to growht because we give up too quickly. Since then, I only do what I enjoy without aiming to up, to win, or anything else. Just doing what I like makes the task not unpleasant. The rest will come with time and perseverance
