Oh god, it's almost the same situation. 
My mom suddenly woke up with pain in the side chest, and didn't give much importance, but the next morning she woke up coughing blood and vomiting.

Sometimes we have to fight to reach the best conclusion. Happy to hear you were in time too 🙏

Something similar happened with me too.
Few months ago my mom was facing pain in chest and breathlessness but was reluctant to not go to doctor. Took me full day to convince and very happy i did because her oxygen level was critically low. And doc prescribed heart meds.

I hope she is feeling better now.
