Lol SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — A group of local disc golfers made what experts are calling a “historic and culturally significant” discovery this wk at River Bends Park after unearthing a heavily weathered metal weed pipe believed to date back to the late '90s. Archeologists rushed to the scene & confirmed the relic's age based on residue consistent with “mid-grade pre-dispensary era bud” & faint engravings that read “420 4ever.” Researchers note that during this era, users had to painstakingly remove seeds & stems from their weed before packing it into a pipe just like this—often made from scavenged hardware or stolen dad tools. Believed to have been lost during an early Limp Bizkit-era bonfire, the pipe is being hailed as the oldest confirmed toker tool in Macomb County park history. Plans are already in motion to place the relic in a glass case inside the Shelby Township Municipal Building, where it will be preserved as “a symbol of local resilience, innovation, & really strong skunk weed.”
