🟥 McDonald’s Instagram Page Hacked in $700,000 Scam with Fake Token

Hackers managed to break into McDonald's official Instagram account and pocketed over $700,000 in Solana (SOL) by pushing a scam involving a meme coin called Grimace. They cleverly fooled 5.1 million followers by promoting this bogus token as a McDonald's experiment on the Solana blockchain. The hackers initially snapped up 75% of the total token supply and distributed it across around 100 different wallets. The token’s market cap soared to $25 million within just 30 minutes, but after the hackers cashed out, it plummeted to $650,000. Adding insult to injury, they even updated the account's bio to brag about their $700,000 haul. McDonald's has since confirmed the hack and issued an apology.
