Verify your account by connecting two socials (X, Phone or GitHub) and holding $25 in your wallet. 

Verified accounts are less likely to get the spam label and show up higher in the feed, replies and search. 

They are necessary to earn weekly rewards and qualify for airdrops

For what it’s worth, we don’t store them after we verify. 

Just have an anonymized unique identified to prevent number reuse.

Thinking out loud:

Could that system potentially have a vulnerability?

I personally verified my phone number. Because I’m used to thinking getting leaked; and ultimately have to contend with using my phone number for work.

But for anonymity, I can see why so many are concerned about this particular part of the verification process.
