Thanks to all who attended the Black Flag DAO Community Call today!
At the call we shared the details of the new structure, with TLDR here:

There are three types of membership which will be implemented over the next couple of months:
 
Flag Curious -- non-voting members with mostly read-only access to our Discord.
Flag Raiser -- Full access to Discord but limited governance role.
Flag Bearer -- Longer-term members with governance and membership approval responsibilities.

A 'stake' (deposit) in the Black Flag DAO Staking pool is required for Flag Raiser or Flag Bearer membership types. In addition, there is a social consensus layer attached to these memberships.

To recognise current members, there is the opportunity to join with a lower deposit and assumed social consensus - see the slides linked from the announcements channel in Discord for eligibility around this but note that this opportunity finishes on March 2, 2025.
