I’m only asking this because I’ve seen people act like this recently in my current job. 

What happens if the subjectivity of it all gives people either an unfair disadvantage or an unfair advantage?

We’ll have to experiment and find out. Very importantly, the signal gathered from this doesn’t do anything *yet*.

And when it does, I think that control needs to be distributed in the sense that the channel reader and the channel hosts should be able to opt in and adjust the thresholds.
