What is INDXR?

INDXR is an upcoming platform that allows anyone to create tokenized indexes on the base network!

So, how does it work?

Creating an INDX is as simple a entering a name, symbol, description, seed amount, and token allocations. 

Once created, 100 tokens are minted, and sent to the creator.

When others buy in, additional tokens are minted, and sent to the buyer proportional to their ownership percentage of the index in ETH. 

For example: If an INDX is created with a seed amount of 1 ETH, and Jane buys in with 1 ETH, 100 tokens are minted and sent to her. If she buys in with 2 ETH, 200 tokens are minted and sent to her. 5 ETH, 500 tokens, and so on.

Buying into an INDX is as easy as entering the amount of ETH you would like to buy in with and clicking "BUY"

Performance can be tracked over time, and even seamlessly shared in an V2 Frame.

Selling, like buying, is as simple as entering the amount of tokens you would like to sell, and clicking on "SELL"

Selling burns the tokens sent to the contract, and sellers are charged a 4% platform fee, 40% of which goes to the creator of the INDX.

We believe this is the next step in basket/index products on the base network! 

Simple ETH in, and ETH out. No need to manage token balances.

INDX's will be rebalanced each epoch (currently 30 days) to ensure tokens held are properly distributed per the initial weighting.

There will be an accompanying INDXR platform token that will serve two main purposes: 

1. INDXR tokens will be able to be staked on any individual INDX, which reduces the platform fees charged from 4% to 1% for sellers.

2. At the end of every epoch, the top 3 INDX's with the most staked INDXR token will be allocated a percentage of LP fees generated by the INDXR token, enriching holders.

We are working out the final details for the token launch, and fee allocations for top INDX's; however, we very much want to build with the community.
