This could save users time, reduce confusion, and make Stargate even slicker. Imagine bridging tokens and gas in one go—smooth! @stargatefinance, what do you think? Happy to chat and refine it. Let’s make cross-chain transfers unstoppable!

I asked in Discord—turns out there’s an option to add native currency, but it’s not obvious in the UI (https://discord.com/channels/903022426856755220/903022427079061659/1351579240922877953). Easy to miss!

This got me thinking: why not make it seamless? So I built a prototype (https://v0-stargejt-9b5pxe.vercel.app) to improve the UX. Here’s how it works: Enter recipient address. Stargate checks if the wallet has native currency. If empty, it suggests adding some for gas.

Hey @stargatefinance, I’m a fan of your cross-chain bridging, but I hit a bump transferring USDC from Base to Abstract. Needed ETH for gas, which meant extra steps. 1/ Send USDC 2/ Send ETH That's not the best UI, but you're gonna be right that you already have the solution 👇

This test could save your crypto. It's a super cool and well-made quiz that shows you how phishing actually works. https://phishing.therektgames.com/about Honestly, this isn’t a phishing scam! Drop your results in the comments, guys!

Now i'm on 1inch Wallet and it's just cool. Ofc I see some ways to improve it (Browser inside 1inch wallet is even worse because there's now tabs feature and you can open only one tab). But it's save and user-friendly. If you have any thoughts on it — please comment. If I offended your feelings of TW user — sorry not sorry

Rabby and 1inch can warn you if you haven’t had any transactions with a wallet yet or if the wallet has no on-chain activity, which is a great defense against scams like address poisoning. Meanwhile, Trust Wallet decided to introduce something like an AML check, warning you that you’re sending money to a "known scammer." On one hand, that’s cool. But, I tried to verify this info and couldn’t find any AML service dealing with USDT on BNB. So where is this data coming from? No idea, and you can’t verify it.

Security According to Coinspect (https://www.coinspect.com/wallets/) TW is: 10th on Android 13th on iOS 14th on Chrome Interesting ranking, and the criteria were solid, but Trust Wallet’s score was so high because it doesn’t protect its users very well.

Price Glitches I’ve almost had a heart attack a few times because the price of some asset briefly dropped to nearly zero and then, just seconds later, bounced back to normal.

Transaction History Issues For some reason, TW doesn’t show all transactions, and I still don’t understand how it decides which ones to display. For example, it often doesn’t show that I’ve interacted with a smart contract and received tokens. So you can’t see what methods you called or how your funds moved. Also, there are times when you send/receive tokens, and while it shows up in the transaction history, your balance doesn’t update for 3-5 minutes and you can’t transfer them right away.

PART 2 UI/UX Trust Wallet and MetaMask have been competing for years on who can make the worst user interface. But at least 🏠 MetaMask is somewhat useful for devs, while Trust Wallet is pretty much useless for everything. The interface is ugly and unintuitive. You have to manually add newly received tokens from a list, and the list is super limited. Honestly, just try other wallets — they’re way easier and more pleasant to use.

(7/🧵) The second issue (PancakeSwap V3 position) is worse. Liquidity positions in PancakeSwap V3 are NFTs. And Trust Wallet? Completely blind to them. (But it has zero issues showing random phishing NFTs. Classic.) Your only option? Go to BSCscan, find your token_id, and transfer it manually.

(6/🧵) The first issue (missing LP tokens) is fixable inside TW—you can manually import the LP token’s address. But even then, TW won’t fetch its price, meaning those tokens won’t be reflected in your portfolio value. Inconvenient. (1inch Wallet, on the other hand, pulled price data from Coingecko and Curve, which was a nice touch.)

(5/🧵) Moving assets out is a nightmare. TW has a terrible time recognizing LP tokens. For example, it doesn’t see my DAI in AAVE on Arbitrum. AAVE. On Arbitrum. That’s not some obscure protocol on a dead chain, but okay, Trust, ignore it. Oh, and it also doesn’t recognize my PancakeSwap V3 liquidity position.

(4/🧵) No private key import. This could’ve solved the seed phrase issue, but nooo—since 2023, TW banned private key imports "for security reasons." Just another control mechanism to keep you locked in.

(3/🧵) A 14-word seed phrase. None of the wallets I picked for migration support this weird format—everyone else uses 12 or 24 words. The weirdest part? I have multiple wallets in Trust Wallet, and ALL of them except my main one (where most of my assets are) have a standard 12-word seed. How did I end up with 14 words? No idea. Asked my friends—they all have 12.

(2/🧵) Leaving Trust Wallet feels like escaping a manipulative abuser. I know, sounds dramatic. But you’ll get it in a second. I should probably start with why I’m leaving, but honestly, this part hurts the most right now. Here’s why:
