Crypto isn’t a scam, but it’s morphing into exactly what it was meant to fight: a centralized system controlled by the same types of elites and institutions it set out to dismantle. It’s heartbreaking to watch. AOC is brilliant and will run everyone’s greedy ass into the ground in 2028.

There are some phrases that just don’t make any fucking sense. Like, if you wouldn’t wish that horrible thing on your worst enemy, then you need better enemies.

I hope we can have honest and productive discussions about making Warpcast a more prominent platform and achieving true decentralization. Sincerely, A Hopeful Advocate for a Better Future (3/3)

The only way forward is to refocus on decentralization. The space has shifted toward speculation and centralized control, with exchanges, institutions, and profit-driven projects dominating the narrative. Without a return to decentralized infrastructure and individual empowerment, crypto will lose its purpose and become another tool for the elites it was designed to challenge. We need to shift people to Warpcast. X and Meta’s manipulative algorithms prioritize profits, exploiting data and frustrating users. Decentralized platforms like Warpcast return control to individuals, offering transparency and freedom. I understand people need to meet basic needs, but this shortsighted focus on profit risks another financial crisis. With new threats—both domestic and foreign—we may face a collapse we can’t recover from. Decentralization isn’t just a solution; it’s a necessity. (2/3)

Crypto was never about making us rich or mimicking the elites we despise. It was built to decentralize power, break free from the control of the 1%, and empower individuals over institutions. At its heart, it was about giving people the chance to live with dignity—free from being crushed by predatory systems like unaffordable housing, exploitative health insurance, and financial institutions that profit off our struggles. Now, the space is being co-opted—not by the same banks that caused the 2008 crisis, but by a new form of centralized power: Big Tech. These corporations are profiting from crypto, shaping it to serve their interests, and recreating the same inequalities it was meant to dismantle. (1/3)

But couldn’t you say that about any platform? TikTok and IG have filters too. I’m just afraid that the toxic culture that is run by ragebait is going to creep in here. It’s so quiet here. It’s nice.

I come on WC a few times a week for a few minutes, and I don’t leave exhausted, but inspired to touch grass. This is how I want my social media to be.

But kids these days… are they more advanced than us? Are they actually like developing things because I think now with AI everything is just kind of handed to them. As a millennial, I had to build things from scratch.
